Coconut Milk & Honey Hair Smoothie

Usually when something sounds too good to be true, it is. However, this coconut and honey hair smoothie does far more than sound good. It works wonders on dry, thirsty hair. It’s packed full of ingredients that have numerous benefits for natural hair, like moisture rich coconut milk which hydrates, conditions and tames frizz. Avocado is a natural source of vitamins and protein. Honey is a humectant that attracts moisture to hair and adds sheen, while olive oil locks in moisture. This inexpensive and easy to make hair treatment yields immediate results. Try it today and see a big difference in your hair.

What You Need

1 Can of pure coconut milk

1 Ripe Avocado

2 Tablespoons Olive oil

2 Tablespoons Pure Honey

What To Do

Combine ingredients in a blender and mix until your concoction reaches a smoothie consistency. Section your hair into 4 sections and generously apply the mixture from root to tip, concentrating on ends of your hair.

Any unused smoothie can be labeled and kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can warm up your hair smoothie in the microwave before the next application. Microwave it for only a few seconds at a time, just enough do de-chill.

Feel free to adjust the recipe for your needs, such as substituting olive oil for another natural oil or adding more honey to boost moisture and sheen.
