DIY Rose Water Anti-Frizz Hair Mist

Spring brings blooming flowers, beautiful days and sunny moods. This Rose Water Hair Spritz is the DIY way to get all that Springtime goodness into a small bottle. Each ingredient is beneficial to hair (and skin) while also having the added benefit of being easy to find.

Rose Water improves blood circulation, promotes hair growth and boosts the health of your scalp and hair. It has conditioning properties which revitalize hair while also controlling dandruff and inflammation.

Glycerin is a humectant which means it attracts and retains water from the surrounding environment. When used properly it has the effect of keeping hair moisturized as it draws moisture from the air to the hair shaft. It helps natural hair retain moisture without clogging pours or weighing hair down. Glycerin also helps define curls and keep frizz at bay.

Argan oil has the ability to penetrate the hair shaft, which enhances the elasticity of hair. This also helps nourish your strands from the inside out. Argan oil has Omega 3 and 9 fatty acids that help strengthen hair. It is also a good source of Vitamin E and is packed with natural anti-oxidants.

Rose Water Anti-Frizz Spritz

2 Tablespoons Pure Rose Water

2 Tablespoons Distilled Water

2 Tablespoons Vegetable Glycerin

2-3 Drops Argan Oil

*Combine ingredients in a small spray bottle and shake well. Use daily to revitalize hair.

While this spritz is great for your hair, it can also be good for your senses. The scent of rose is known to have a calming effect. That means you get a dose of aromatherapy with every spray. So mix and spray away!
